Geotechnical Project Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of management experience in Geotechnical Engineering and Project Management.
  • Pre-construction sales experience.
  • PE (Professional Engineer) preferred, but EIT (Engineer in Training) close to obtaining PE with Geotechnical PM experience will be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Outgoing personality with a focus on sales and client interaction.
  • Comfortable multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Description:

Our esteemed client is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Manager to join their pre-construction estimating, sales, and management team in the New England area. This dynamic role involves managing ground improvement projects using technologies such as Geopier®, Rigid Inclusions, Rapid Impact Compaction, and Vibratory Probe Compaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with General Contractors, Consultants, and Owners for business development.
  • Manage 40-60 projects in various stages from early estimating to final proposal and negotiation.
  • Attend industry events and conduct lunch and learn sessions for business development.
  • Collaborate with Construction Design Engineers and Construction Project Managers.
  • Provide strong follow-up, people management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
