Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- US CPA license or completion of the CPA exam
- 2–4 years of audit & assurance experience at a U.S. CPA firm
- Experience working with transportation, manufacturing, and/or construction clients
- Currently employed at another CPA firm in the U.S.
- Ability to plan, execute, direct, and complete audits and other services while managing to budget
- Strong knowledge of audit and accounting principles and Excel
- Familiarity with CCH ProSystem fx Engagement and IDEA software
- Consultative approach with superior client service focus
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
- Self-directed, proactive, and motivated
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Position Overview
A leading public accounting and consulting firm is seeking a dynamic Audit Senior Associate to join its Assurance (Audit) team in Atlanta. In this role, you will work with clients across a variety of industries—including manufacturing/distribution/distribution, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, and financial services—to perform and supervise audits, prepare financial statements, and deliver exceptional client service.
This is an urgent hire, and the position offers a hybrid work arrangement (up to two days per week remote) with a focus on collaboration, professional development, and maintaining a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review financial statement audits, benefit plan audits, reviews, and compilations
- Prepare financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAP
- Document and test internal controls
- Assist Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners with consulting projects
- Supervise, train, and mentor Associates and Interns, reviewing their work papers and financial statements
- Manage engagement budgets and realization goals
- Identify problem areas and propose solutions to Managers
- Continuously develop technical skills through CPE, on-the-job training, and personal commitment
Requirements
